You need a Pro plan. Add a subscription in Profile → Developer, or with
POST /v1/webhooks
and the same key as the Public API.

Three kinds:

Filter —
domain.matched_filter
when a report starts matching a saved search. Rows already in the list are not sent again.

Reports — watch specific reports (from favorites in the UI, up to 100). Auction price, bid count, ending soon, and ended, plus this account's note, tags, and favorite.

User tasks —
usertask.created
and
usertask.completed
.

Each delivery is signed with Standard Webhooks. The
whsec_
secret is shown once: when you create the subscription or rotate the secret. An account can have 30 subscriptions and 5,000 deliveries per UTC day.

Setup and payload examples are on the webhooks page.

In the report the name is assembled from words, and the classification is marked as an AI estimate

The list filters now have a Name tab. It lets you pick domains by the name itself, not by the history of the site.

Domain Name searches the start, the end, and anywhere in the name: a comma means AND, a vertical bar means OR. Next to it are gTLDs/ccTLDs, length, digits, and hyphens.

Letter pattern and Vowel pattern describe the shape of the name. L is a letter, N is a digit, H is a hyphen, X is any other character. In the vowel pattern, V is a, e, i, o, u, y, and C is any other Latin letter.

Name type, Industry, and Name languages are read by an AI model. That is a judgment of the name, not the category of the site, and it can be wrong. Brand Score is filtered in the same block, with a minimum and a maximum.

In the report card the same breakdown is on the Domain name tab.

Structure measures the name without a model: length, the number of digits and hyphens, and the letter and vowel patterns. Each pattern symbol is its own badge; hover it to see what it means.

Classification assembles the name from the words: each word in its own colored block, with a capital letter, and the zone beside them. Below that are the meaning, the type, the languages, and the overall confidence. Under the heading a note says the breakdown was made by AI and may be wrong.

A Pro plan or higher is required.
How to connect

ChatGPT / Claude.ai — add the MCP URL
https://mcp.karma.domains/mcp
, choose OAuth (or Sign in), and finish browser login.

Cursor, VS Code, and other IDEs — still use a Bearer API key from Profile → Settings. OAuth and the key work side by side; x402 for agents is unchanged.

Client instructions are on the MCP landing page. If MCP was already connected with a key, you do not have to change anything: OAuth is an extra way to sign in.

Backlinks and anchor texts — Moz

Page counter — URLs from the sitemap

Traffic — SimilarWeb and Semrush

Spam Score — Moz SS plus DA / BL / RD

Still in place: report search, favorites, the “is the domain free” check (
available
true/false), and Karma Metric.

Billing. 1 credit from the shared balance per domain. Repeating the same check within the cache window (5 days) is not charged. The 60 requests per minute limit is shared by REST and MCP. Same key — Profile → Settings.

How to get access if MCP is already connected. You do not need to change the server URL or API key — the config in Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or OpenClaw stays the same. The client remembers the tool list for the session, so an old chat may not show the new tools. Open a new conversation (that is often enough). If the tools still do not appear, restart the client or turn the Karma.Domains server off and on in MCP settings. For REST, the new
GET /v1/domains/checker/…
endpoints are available immediately; no new key is required.

This metric is based on analyzing the archiving activity of domain pages in the Wayback Machine. It provides an alternative view on domain quality instead of traditional metrics such as Domain Authority (DA), Domain Rating (DR), Authority Score (AS), Trust Flow (TF) and others that are based on backlink profiles.

By default, the Karma Domain Metric column is hidden in the table. To display it, you need to enable it in the table settings.

The algorithm is based on analyzing the archiving activity of domain pages in the Wayback Machine:

Mass — the number of unique pages that have been archived in the Wayback Machine.

Continuity — the duration of domain activity in the Wayback Machine.

Stability — the stability of domain activity in the Wayback Machine.

Trend — the trend of domain activity in the Wayback Machine.

Each of these components is evaluated on a 100-point scale, and then the overall Karma Domain Metric is calculated.
