How profile settings work
The profile settings section lets you personalize the service interface. Here you can set your home page, interface language, theme, and time zone.
Important: You must be signed in to change settings. Changes apply only after you click "Save".
Opening profile settings
Step 1: Go to your profile
- Sign in to the service
- Open the "Profile" section in your account
- Find the "Settings" section
Step 2: Open the settings panel
- Open the profile settings section
- The interface settings panel appears
- All settings load automatically from your profile
Home page
The home page determines which section opens when you enter the service or go to the main page.
How to change the home page
- Find the "Home Page" field in settings
- Open the drop-down list
- Choose the page you want from the available options
- Click "Save" to apply your changes

- The home page is used on every sign-in
- The setting is stored in your profile
- It takes effect as soon as you save
Interface language
The interface language controls the language of UI elements across the service.
How to change the interface language
- Find the "Language" field in settings
- Open the drop-down list
- Choose the language you want
- Click "Save" to apply your changes
Available languages
Available languages depend on service configuration and may include:
- English (en) — English
- Russian (ru) — Russian
- And other languages supported by the service
Note: After you change the language, the interface updates automatically. Some elements may require a page reload.
Notes
- The interface language applies to all service UI
- The setting is stored in your profile
- It takes effect as soon as you save
- Content language (for domains, descriptions, etc.) is independent of the interface language
Theme
The theme sets the color scheme of the service interface (light or dark).
How to change the theme
- Find the "Theme" field in settings
- Open the drop-down list
- Choose the theme you want
- Click "Save" to apply your changes
Available themes
Available themes depend on service configuration and may include:
- Light — light theme
- Dark — dark theme
Note: Dark theme is often easier in low light; light theme works well in bright conditions.
Notes
- The theme applies across the whole service UI
- The setting is stored in your profile
- It takes effect as soon as you save
- Some elements may need a page reload for the theme to apply fully
Time zone
The time zone controls how dates and times are shown in the service. It also affects email digests.
How to change the time zone
- Find the "Timezone" field in settings
- Open the drop-down list
- Choose the time zone you need
- Click "Save" to apply your changes
Available time zones
The list includes standard world time zones, for example:
- America/New_York — US Eastern Time
- Europe/London — London time
- Asia/Tokyo — Tokyo time
- And others
Note: By default, the system can detect the time zone from your browser settings.
Notes
- The time zone applies to all dates and times in the UI and to email digests
- The setting is stored in your profile
- It takes effect as soon as you save
- Dates and times are shown in the selected time zone
Saving settings
How to save changes
- After changing any setting (home page, language, theme, or time zone)
- Scroll down to the "Save" button
- Click "Save"
- Wait for the success confirmation
Important: Settings are saved only when you click "Save". If you leave the page without saving, your changes are lost.
Save feedback
- A success message appears after a successful save
- Settings apply automatically right after saving
- "Save" may be temporarily disabled while saving is in progress
- After saving, settings load and apply automatically
Automatic application
After you save, the system:
- Stores settings in your profile
- Reloads updated profile data
- Applies settings to the interface
- Updates the UI to match the new settings
Usage examples
Example 1: Working with auctions
Goal: Set up the profile for auctions in Russian with a dark theme.
Steps:
- Open profile settings
- Set "Home Page" to "Auctions"
- Set "Language" to "Russian (ru)"
- Set "Theme" to "Dark"
- Leave the default time zone or choose "Europe/Moscow"
- Click "Save"
Result: On sign-in you land in auctions; the UI is Russian with a dark theme.
Example 2: International workflow
Goal: Use English UI and manage different time zones.
Steps:
- Open profile settings
- Set "Language" to "English (en)"
- Set "Timezone" to "UTC" or another time zone you need
- Click "Save"
Result: The UI is in English; dates and times follow the selected time zone.
Example 3: Quick theme switch
Goal: Switch from dark to light theme for bright environments.
Steps:
- Open profile settings
- Find the "Theme" field
- Choose "Light" instead of "Dark"
- Click "Save"
Result: The UI switches to the light theme right after saving.
Troubleshooting
Issue: "Save" is disabled
Cause: The button may be disabled while a save is in progress.
What to do:
- Wait a few seconds if a save is running
- Refresh the page and try again
- Make sure you are signed in
Issue: Changes are not saved
Possible causes:
- Network issues
- Server issues
- "Save" was not clicked
What to do:
- Check your internet connection
- Confirm you clicked "Save" after making changes
- Refresh the page and try again
- If it persists, contact support
Issue: Settings do not apply
Possible causes:
- Settings were not saved
- A page reload is needed
- Browser cache issues
What to do:
- Confirm settings were saved ("Save" was clicked)
- Reload the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
- Clear the browser cache and try again
- Check that values look correct on the settings page
Issue: Interface language does not change
Possible causes:

What to do:
- Confirm settings were saved
- Reload the page

- If it persists, pick another language and switch back
