The Auctions tab in the domain report shows a list of auctions where the domain was or is for sale. Entries are grouped by date (by timestamp); for each auction the venue, sale type, lot link, price, and bid count are shown. The tab is useful for reports from the Auctions database and other types that pull in auction data.

If the report has no auction data or no records with type auctions, the tab shows only the heading and the label “(no data)”. The list is not displayed.

Heading

At the top of the tab is the Auctions heading (or its translation, e.g. “Auctions”). There is no separate explanatory paragraph in the component.

Grouping by date

Data is shown as blocks by date. Each block is one timestamp: usually the auction end date or the data snapshot date. Time is shown in the selected locale format (date and time) and also relatively (e.g. “3 days ago”). Blocks are sorted newest to oldest (most recent first).

Screenshot placeholder: several blocks with dates.

Auction list inside a block

Inside each date block is a bulleted list of auctions. Only records with type auctions (venue auctions) are shown. Each line contains:

“Open” link (or equivalent) — leads to the lot page on the auction venue. A venue favicon (favicon by venue domain) is shown next to it. In demo mode the link may be inactive.

In grey parenthesesvenue (source) and sale type (sale_type), e.g.: GoDaddy, Auction.

Price — after a dash the amount in dollars (price) with digit grouping, e.g.: — $1,234.

Bids — in grey parentheses: bid count (bids) and the “bids” label, e.g.: (5 bids).

Resulting line: link + icon + “(venue, type)” — $price (N bids).

Screenshot placeholder: one block with a date and 2–3 auctions (venue, type, price, bids, link).

Conditions for venue, price, bid count, auction end date, and date added (and related fields on the Source tab in filters) are set when selecting domains in database tables — in the auction filters block. How they work in different sections (Auctions, Backorder, Expired) is covered in Domain auction filters.

In short

  • The Auctions tab shows auctions for the domain, grouped by date (newest to oldest).
  • In each block: date and time (and “relative”), then a list of auctions with lot link, venue, sale type, price in $, and bid count. If there is no suitable data — “(no data)”.
  • Domain selection by auction conditions in search — see Domain auction filters.
