The Categories tab in the domain report shows topical categories assigned to the domain by external services (SimilarWeb, Moz, Majestic, etc.). For each provider, its name (link to site/description) and a list of categories or a single category are shown. This helps you see how different systems classify the domain.
If the report has no category data, the tab shows only the heading and the label “(no data)”. The list of blocks is not displayed.
Heading
At the top of the tab is the Categories heading (or its translation, e.g. “Categories”). There is no separate explanatory paragraph in the component.
Blocks by provider
Data is shown as a set of rows (ReportLine). Each row corresponds to one provider (category source):
Row title — the provider name (vendor), formatted as a link. Clicking opens the provider or check information page (info_url) in a new tab. In demo mode the link may be inactive.
Row content — categories this provider assigned to the domain:
- If there are several categories — a bulleted list: each category on its own line (category name or path like “Category / Subcategory”). Empty values are shown as “(no data)”.
- If there is one category — a single value is shown without a list. If there is no data — “(no data)”.
Provider order matches the report data order. Different providers may use different sets and levels of category detail.
Filtering by categories in search
To select domains by topic in database tables, use the Categories block on the main search conditions tab: you can set one or more categories and subcategories. Step-by-step description and examples are in Main search filters, section “Category filter (Categories)”.
