Where the block is

In the full domain report, a Semrush section appears — a separate tab titled Semrush with Semrush service metrics. The block only appears if the report structure includes a Semrush data section.

If there is no Semrush data, a grey label (Not found) is shown under the heading — no separate metrics or charts are built.

When metrics are present, a short informational row appears above the metrics: service information text and a favicon link Semrush to the external Semrush domain overview. The link opens Semrush with the domain from the report already filled in (searchType=domain) so you can jump to details at the source quickly.

In demo report mode, following this link may be disabled (link inactive) so users are not taken away from the demo view.

The Backlinks block shows Semrush link-profile metrics:

  • Authority Score (AS) — a circular indicator (progress ring) with a number in the center. The scale is 0 to 100. Ring color changes with the value (low / medium / high thresholds), so you can quickly tell weak, moderate, and strong at a glance. If the value did not arrive, an empty ring and a dash “-” in the center are shown.
  • Backlinks — total backlink count (plain number with digit grouping).
  • Referring Domains — referring domain count.
  • Referring IPs — referring IP count.
  • EDU backlinks — links from educational zones (from Semrush zone data).
  • GOV backlinks — links from governmental zones.

If a numeric field is missing, a dash “—” is shown instead of a number.

How to read the metrics

  • AS is Semrush’s overall domain authority score.
  • Backlinks / Referring Domains / Referring IPs describe the size and diversity of the link profile in Semrush’s index.
  • EDU and GOV highlight specialized zone links when present.

Traffic Analytics

When Traffic Analytics data exists for the domain, a Traffic Analytics heading appears. If Semrush provides a period label, it is shown next to the heading (for example a month / display date).

Summary KPIs

A row of key metrics for that period:

  • Visits — estimated visits (compact number formatting).
  • Unique Visitors — unique visitors.
  • Pages / Visit — average pages per visit (one decimal place).
  • Avg. Visit Duration — average visit duration as minutes:seconds.
  • Bounce Rate — bounce rate in percent.

Where month-over-month change is available, each KPI shows a percentage change next to the value (up / down styling). For bounce rate, an increase is treated as a negative signal in the color logic.

Under Visits, when device shares exist, Desktop and Mobile percentages are shown.

Traffic Sources

Below the KPIs, a Traffic Sources heading introduces:

  1. A bar chart of channels that have non-zero volume (when any channel has data).
  2. A two-column list of channel values: Direct, Search Organic, Search Paid, Referral, Social, Mail, and Display Ad.

Values are absolute visit counts (digit grouping). Display Ad appears in the report list/chart when present; it is not exposed as a separate field in the Semrush filter panel.

If the report has Semrush backlinks but no Traffic Analytics payload, the traffic blocks stay hidden and only the Backlinks section is shown.

Semrush in the report Summary

In the report Summary header block, Semrush shows a compact preview: AS (circle), RD (referring domains), and BL (backlinks). Clicking the Semrush summary block opens the Semrush tab with full detail.

Authority Score, backlink counts, referring domains/IPs, EDU/GOV, visits, unique visitors, device shares, and traffic channels from the report can be set as min / max ranges when selecting domains in database tables — in the Semrush filters block. Details on scales, fields, and examples are in Semrush filters.

In short

  • The Semrush tab shows Backlinks (AS, BL, RD, IPs, EDU, GOV) and, when available, Traffic Analytics KPIs and Traffic Sources.
  • Empty Semrush data → (Not found) under the heading.
  • Above the metrics — a link to Semrush with the domain from the report; in demo the link may be inactive.
  • Summary header: AS, RD, BL — click to open this tab.
  • Selection by the same metrics in search — see Semrush filters.
