How Subreg auctions work

Subreg.CZ (Gransy) runs timed domain auctions on subreg.cz with tabs for all lots, Users' auctions, and Expired domains. Inventory mixes Czech and other ccTLDs with common gTLDs. This floor sells registered or expired registrar names; it is not the CZ.NIC priority-right process for deleted .cz strings.

Auction flow in short:

• Account required. Bids are binding.

• Proxy maximum. System steps bids up to the ceiling under published increments.

• Soft close. A bid in the last 10 minutes adds 10 minutes from that bid.

• Prices ex VAT. Displayed amounts exclude 21% DPH.

• Pay in 7 days from credit or payment call, or collect warnings toward a permanent ban.

Bid increments (CZK)

Minimum raise depends on the current price band (Subreg base rules):

• Under 500 CZK: 50 CZK

• 500 to 2,500 CZK: 100 CZK

• 2,501 to 5,000 CZK: 250 CZK

• 5,001 to 10,000 CZK: 500 CZK

• Above 10,000 CZK: 1,000 CZK

Each listing also shows its own minimum amount. There is no published cap on the maximum proxy ceiling.

Expired domains vs Users' auctions

Expired domains

These lots sit on Subreg's expiry auction path. The winning price includes automatic renewal. Subreg notes that renewal can also run while the auction is still open. Launch-era Subreg coverage described expired names entering around day 32 after expiry at about 999 CZK ex VAT for a 7-day run; always confirm start price and end time on the live listing.

Users' auctions

Owners set the minimum and duration (VOP: at least 5 days; default 7 if the seller does not choose). Domains move to Subreg's contact for the listing window and return if unsold. After at least one bid at the starting price, the sale is obligatory; the seller cannot pull the name mid-auction.

Allowed listing set (per rules): gTLDs such as com/net/org/info, plus CZ, PL, AT, and SK when held under the GRAN-0063 holder setup. Names with expiry less than one month after the auction end date cannot be listed.

Seller commission (Users' auctions)

Charged to the seller on the final price ex VAT:

• Under 2,500 CZK: 15%, minimum 75 CZK

• 2,500 to 10,000 CZK: 10%

• 10,000 CZK and above: 7%

Payment, VAT, and penalties

• Buyer invoice: final bid + 21% VAT + transfer fee as applied by Subreg.

• Deadline: 7 days after close.

• Methods: account credit or payment call.

• Non-payment: one warning per unpaid win; three warnings permanently bar future auction participation.

• Currency in Karma.Domains: CZK (loader uses the CZK auction view; Europe/Prague end times).

What the table above shows

1. Open Wayback snapshots across years; skip pharma, casino, piracy eras, and odd redirect chains.

3. Budget VAT. Add 21% DPH on top of the displayed CZK bid, plus transfer fees.

4. Screen trademarks for Czech and other relevant markets (.cz, .sk, .pl, .at, and gTLDs).

5. CZ.NIC is a separate path. Subreg expired/user lots are registrar marketplace sales; CZ.NIC auctions sell a priority right to register a deleted .cz name.

6. For Expired lots, confirm that included renewal and mid-auction renewal behavior match the listing before bidding high.
